PREVIOUSLY: Sakura regains consciousness but has a bit of amnesia. Something is off but she can't place her finger on it. After having a breif conversation with Tsunade, Sakura comes to find out that Naruto is no where to be seen. Sakura is now attempting to remember what happened.

Her memories were from a few days earlier. Naruto and Sakura were given a mission to do alone that day. No Yamato or Sai, they both had other matters to attend to. Needless to say Naruto was ecstatic about the idea of having a mission alone with Sakura. The mission itself went off without a hitch. All they had to do was deliver an important package to a client in the Land of Tea. Apparently it was a personal mission from Tsunade. Sakura had a pretty good guess that it had to do with Boss Jirobo. She sighed at the thought of the amount of debt Tsunade was probably in with him. Everything happened on their trip back. Now Sakura remembered it all so clearly; the blowing winds, the falling leaves, and the sound of their footsteps against the branches. They had paused for a moment to take a break. Kunai came flying at them from a nearby tree. Naruto and Sakura easily avoided them and went on the defensive. Three rogue ninja lashed out at the duo. Both Naruto and Sakura felt it was better if they split up. Two of the three followed Naruto’s taunts into the woods. Sakura didn’t struggle much with her opponent. A few good hits to the abdomen and face spelled the end for the ninja. She remembers searching through the woods for Naruto.
When she found him she noticed that he wasn’t able to get an offensive edge on two opponents. Their combined ninjutsu styles were a little much for him after a while. Sakura quickly intervened in the fight. Her new opponent proved to be a bit more difficult then the last. The tall man had deep red hair and was using some sort of wind style ninjutsu. Sakura couldn’t get close enough to land a clean blow on him. She knew that Naruto lured the other ninja farther away from his companion. Sakura was surprised that Naruto actually picked up some intelligence while he was away with Jiraiya. She only wished that he hadn’t picked up Jiraiya’s perverted ways. It couldn’t be helped though, Naruto was well on his way without the old fool’s input. Sakura then focused again on the fierce enemy before her, but her mind kept drifting back to Naruto. She was so unfocused that she failed to notice the corner her enemy was driving her into. His tactical skills were below that of Shikamaru (that’s to be expected of any ninja though ), but he was still pretty smart. The last thing Sakura remembers was her enemy’s final move. She prepared to take the full brunt of the attack as her enemy gathered his chakra. Then she remembered the warmth, a feeling she couldn’t explain, as the violent gust of  sharp wind sliced through the air. She was thrown into the rock face behind her. That was where the medical team found her barely conscious. Then she was here in the hospital room.
After gathering her bearings, Sakura opened her eyes. She was surprised when the bright light of the sun engulfed her eyes. It was a high afternoon sun. she breathed a sigh of relief. She had remembered everything. That was the difficult part. Now she just wanted to see if Tsunade or anyone else could answer her remaining question. After sitting there, paralyzed with confusion, Sakura attempted to leave her bed. A voice scolded her and demanded that she lay back down. She turned to see Tsunade standing in the doorway with Shizune at her side. “Can we talk now?” questioned Sakura as she sat back down on the bed. “Yes but first let me ask you again if you remember anything.” Sakura inhaled and exhaled deeply and explained the details of that day to Tsunade. “I see. Thank you Sakura.” Tsunade and Shizune made way to leave until they were stopped by Sakura. “Shishou, where is Naruto?” Shizune continued her way out of the room while Tsunade stood there, deep in thought. Without even looking at Sakura, she responded, “Room 66.” Tsunade departed. Leaving Sakura confused and alone once again.
Sakura made it an extra effort, the next day, to get out of bed to visit Naruto. She carefully pulled the IV out of her arm and put some fresh clothes. She took many precautions that morning, trying not to arouse to much suspicion. Carefully she made her way down the hall to the stairway. No one seemed to be around. The wing was completely lacking any kind of life. She slowly walked up the stairs. Sakura was still in recovery and wasn’t supposed to be moving around, she quickly found out why. She found herself breathing heavily after going up two flights of stairs. When she reached the final landing, she got a hold of herself and opened the door that lead to the intensive care hallway. As she rounded the corner and looked down the hall, something caught her eye. Quickly she shot back into the landing corridor. Sakura peeked around the doorway to watch the visitor. She found it to be Tsunade entering Naruto’s room. Her and Shizune entered the room quickly and, just as fast as they entered, slid the door shut. ‘Why now of all times?’ thought Sakura as she remained, hiding, in the small hallway.
Okay please bear with me I'm still trying to write a longer story but it is proving a bit difficult. After the last sentence I stared at it for like a hour then I thought to myself 'Whoa the room it's spinning, wait no it can't be writer's block NOOOO!!!' Man I hate it when that happens so needless to say the story is at a stand still for now and you couldn't ask Tsunade for any better timing, could you? Please comment CRITICISM is greatly appreciated!
