It’s been three years.
Three years since Itachi’s death, Jiraiya’s death. Three years, to the day, since Sasuke joined the Akatsuki as his hopeless dream for revenge continues. In Konoha not much has changed. the threats are still looming, incomplete paperwork is still stacked high in Tsunade’s office and still, everyday, Naruto can expect a hit to the head by his pink haired teammate. For the past two years now they have been inseparable, Naruto and Sakura. They’re always together. Spotted at festivals, their favorite ramen shop or enjoying each other’s company in the park. But sometimes one has to take a step back from the world and ask themselves something. Can life really happen this way? The answer may be difficult to come by. Even once its found the clear answer can be taken into the depths of one’s mind. We can only hope that the answer they find can be as simple as their love.
